Privacy Policy

• Your email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter through the sign-up form in the footer or the sign-up popup. We store the address and the time you subscribed.
• Usage data collected by our analytics tools: pages visited, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type.
• Popup interaction data: whether the sign-up popup was shown, closed or used, so it isn’t shown to you again after you close it or subscribe. A small identifier is kept in your browser’s storage for this.

• To send you the newsletter you asked for (legal basis: your consent). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
• To understand which content is useful and to keep the site working and free of abuse (legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site).

We do not sell your personal data.

• BetterPopup (betterpopup.com): shows the sign-up popup and stores the addresses entered in it.
• Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA (Google LLC): analytics and spam protection. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Ahrefs Web Analytics and Simple Analytics: privacy-focused page analytics.
• Our hosting provider and Cloudflare, which serve the site and necessarily process your IP address.

Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the provider’s standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Some product links on this site are Amazon affiliate links. If you follow one, Amazon may set its own cookies and learns that you came from us. We don’t receive any of your personal data from Amazon; we only see aggregate sales.

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept according to each provider’s retention settings.

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
